Hey. I am Jean. I’m 17 years old. I aspire to be a designer of some sort. I am an epic procrastinator so it’s taken me this long to really actively pursue this as a dream.

For years I have been in awe of the fashion industry, and I have always thought it would be hard to break through, to become successful. But it seems to be the only thing I can picture myself doing. Then I thought – why the heck shouldn’t I do it?

So now I am building myself up, slowly but surely.

I love Japan. I love netball. I love sewing. I love the 20′s. I love the determination of Coco Chanel. I love the 80′s. I love the 90′s. I love just about any decade. The noughties doesn’t have a distinct style does it? I love the noughties anyway. The crop tops were cute. I love Studio Ghibli. I love Pixar. I love comedy programmes. I love to laugh. I love to collect stuff for my CV. I love [girl]guiding. I would love to make a zine one day. I love buying stuff online. I love reading tutorials online. I love reading. I love young adult fiction. I love tumblr. I love keeping things to look back at later. I love expressing myself.

I’m bored now, so I bet you are. I’m average. But everyone is different and special, so I guess I am too.
